Breeding data sources

PalBreed Calculator makes each breeding result traceable to a pinned data release, rather than an unversioned guess or a single community recipe.

Primary breeding dataset

Species outcomes, supported parent pairs, variants, and stated gender constraints are produced from a pinned copy of the open-source PalCalc project. This site records the imported release in its local data manifest so a future update can be reviewed and reproduced.

Editorial recommendations

The Best Breeding Combos page separates whether a recipe is valid from why a player might choose it. Every parent-to-child relationship is verified against the bundled rule data. Recommendations are reviewed for practical roles such as cake production, base work, mounts, combat, or progression; they are not a claim that one recipe is the only way to reach a Pal.

For its initial Palworld 1.0 editorial shortlist, the site cross-checked recent community guide coverage from Mobalytics’ 1.0 breeding guide and its early progression guide. External guides inform prioritization only; the calculator’s own dataset decides the displayed outcome.

What this tool does not predict

PalBreed Calculator does not estimate egg gender probability, passive-skill inheritance odds, breeding time, capture difficulty, or combat DPS. Use it to verify species-level breeding outcomes and compare valid routes, then apply your own Pals, passives, and game goals.
